Suderman & Young Towing Company assists the tall ship ELISSA for Galveston Historical Foundation.

On January 14, 2018, Suderman & Young Towing Company assisted the tall ship ELISSA one of the oldest sailing ships today. Launched in 1877 the ELISSA is designated one of “America’s Treasures” and a National Historic Landmark. The 4300 HP Z-Drive tug JESS NEWTON built in 2001 was used to move ELISSA to Brady Island in Houston, TX. for maintenance.
